2026 Vascular Health Innovation Summit
Vascular disease through the metabolic lens: targeting metabolic pathways in PAD patients
February 20, 2026

The Vascular Health Innovation Summit brings together
~60 leaders from across the vascular health ecosystem, patients,
clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and industry partners, to advance
collaborative solutions in vascular prevention and care. As a core initiative of the Foundation to Advance Vascular Cures, the Summit creates a space where patient-centered innovation, scientific rigor, and real-world needs converge.
Building on the 2024 focus on digital health, this year’s Summit turns to the intersection of metabolic disease and vascular outcomes. Guided by insights from patients, caregivers, and clinician-scientists, discussions will explore how diabetes, obesity, and kidney disease shape vascular experiences, and how future research, trial design, and preventive strategies can better reflect these connections.
Through expert panels, patient-engagement sessions, and cross-sector dialogue, participants will identify priority gaps, opportunities for partnership, and near-term directions for transformative research. Key elements include multi-specialty clinical discussions, collaborative planning across institutions and disciplines, and meaningful integration of patient and caregiver perspectives.
The Summit is part of the Foundation’s broader effort to accelerate progress in vascular health equity and prevention. By convening diverse voices and focusing on emerging challenges at the interface of metabolic and vascular disease, the 2026 Vascular Health Innovation Summit aims to inform the innovations and care models that will shape the field in the years ahead.
