Ashley Xu

Volunteer, UC Berkeley

Ashley is a recent graduate from UC Berkeley, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular & Cell Biology and a minor in Disability Studies. Through her volunteer work with Vascular Cures, she has assisted with preventative health screenings, developed educational modules, and translated outreach materials. She is passionate about patient-centered research, vascular health advocacy, and supporting patients and caregivers as they navigate the healthcare system, especially those facing language and cultural barriers. Driven by the belief that community engagement is vital to improving health outcomes, I hope to pursue a career as a physician-scientist dedicated to translating research into meaningful improvements in patient care. In her free time, Ashley enjoys painting, running, and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops around the Bay Area.
