Cardiovascular & Metabolic Disease Patient Engagement

PCOR/CER Convening to Support Engagement in Patient-Centered CER related to Investigating Cardiovascular Disease through the Metabolic Lens

Funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), this seven-year project (July 2020–June 2027) aims to advance patient-engaged comparative effectiveness research (CER) at the intersection of vascular and metabolic disease. Through virtual convenings and an in-person Summit on May 14, 2027, the project will bring patients, clinicians, researchers, and other stakeholders together to identify patient-centered priorities, strengthen capacity for meaningful engagement, and develop practical resources to support equitable, feasible CER.
