The Foundation to Advance Vascular Cures has developed evidence-based toolkits to facilitate patient engagement in research. The toolkits feature a case study on Chronic Limb-threatening Ischemia (CLTI) and how patient partners can be engaged in research to improve outcomes for all.

One toolkit is aimed at researchers and other stakeholders, to help them in planning and implementing patient engagement in their research.

This module will provide you with an overview of research as it relates to medical discovery and patient outcomes. Later in the module, we’ll discuss how patients and caregivers can engage in research to improve the process and findings.
