Sherene Shalhub, MD

Dr. Shalhub is Division Head, Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University and is working with Vascular Cures to improve educational resources for patients. An expert in aortic/arterial dissections and aneurysms, Dr. Shalhub’s research focuses on personalizing health care for individuals with genetically triggered vascular conditions, and on improving the success of long-term survival and outcomes for patients. She is the lead investigator for the VEDS Collaborative Research Study (VEDScollaborative.org) and the PCORI funded Aortic Dissection Collaborative (ADCollaborative.org). She says: “What centers me is my relationship with the patients and their families.”
