Community Engagement Initiatives
Our community engagement initiatives are at the heart of our mission, addressing health disparities and improving vascular health outcomes in underserved populations. All of these initiatives are informed by patient advisors who assist us in strategy and design, to ensure that all education and awareness efforts that are part of community engagement are responsive to patient priorities. Through the support of our partners and donors, we're making strides in preventing death and disability from vascular diseases.
Vascular Health Equity Academy
Our team of physicians, nurses, public health specialists, caregivers, and patients is excited to bring you the courses, flyers, and other resources that are part of the Vascular Health Equity Academy: a free patient-centered learning platform offering evidence-based accessible resources on vascular health. Patients and caregivers have informed and reviewed the content of all material in the Academy.
Patient Engagement Toolkits
The Foundation to Advance Vascular Cures has developed evidence-based toolkits to facilitate patient engagement in research. This work has been done in partnership with patients and caregivers who are uniquely positioned to design the user experience for these resources.
