Since our funds are directed toward programs, we have a small team and need help to reach more people and expand our impact. Experienced development professional to develop and execute strategies that encompass individual, foundation and corporate giving. The ideal person will have 6+ years of experience successfully leading non-profit fund-raising campaigns related to medical research and community health. Social networking experience a plus, though secondary.

Grant writer and development professional to conduct research on grant-making organizations, write grant applications, and coordinate follow-up with grantor organizations. The successful candidate will have 4+ years experience and a track record of success. Non-profit and/or medical research grant-writing experience is preferred.

Administrative development professional to help implement fund-raising initiatives including special events, marketing campaigns and community awareness. The ideal person will have 3+ years of administrative experience, plus demonstrated coordination of projects involving multiple groups.

Public relations professional with 6+ years of experience leading initiatives in the medical sector. This person must have current relationships with Bay Area and national media. Experience with cardiovascular disease research is ideal but experience with other types of medical research is also valuable.

Marketing professional experienced in creating high-impact mass market print and web collateral; ideal person will have 5+ years of experience independently managing creative projects for small organizations. Experience creating brand identity and image marketing will be an important plus. This key person needs to be willing to do it all!

Graphic design professional with 5+ years of experience; will be working on projects that need to appeal to diverse audiences, conveying high energy state-of-the art messaging. This designer must own or have access to the appropriate software.

We’re looking for part- or full-time volunteers who are self-managing, with demonstrated initiative and energy. We need people we can count on, even if it is only on a part-time, interim or project basis. All work can be done at our office in Redwood City, California or at home, and the schedule is flexible.
